What Causes Delayed Periods With Brown Vaginal Discharge?
Hello I m 18 years old a little over couple months ago I was sexually assaulted. The rape occurred for about 3 or 4 mins before I pushed him off. I went to the hospital that day of and got anti-biotics for any stds he may have given me. After a couple months ago (late April or early May) I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and after a while my body seem to be acting crazy. I ve been experiencing reoccurring brown discharge, my period skipped in June. My period came on July 4 and ended in five days. Then I had sex with my boyfriend again with a condom on a couple days ago and now the brown discharge has been showing more as of blood. It was like spotting, I m beginning to get very scared. I have appointment with a doctor July 20th but I m just so scared. I hope I don t have a disease or pregnant... I don t know what to do...
Hello, Thanks for the query. The symptoms are more consistent with infective causes like yeast or bacterial vaginosis. Consult a gynaecologist and plan for a vaginal swab to confirm the diagnosis. As of now you can use clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals. Thanks
