What Causes Delayed Periods With Dark And Stringy Clots And Abdominal Cramps?

hi my period was 19 days late but I am concerned as the blood is really dark and thick and stringy with small clots. I am getting really bad period pains in my tummy and lower back the pains in my lower back started a few days before my period. could this be a miscarriage?

Hi,

You can wait a maximum of 45 days from last menstrual cycle. Your history says it is 19 days late & you haven't mentioned about any HPT done to confirm the pregnancy. I advise you to do serum beta HCG test which is more reliable than HPT, also do a USG pelvis to rule pregnancy or it's retained products if any. Consult your gynaecologist for further assistance.
