What Causes Delayed Periods With Persistent Nausea?

I think I may be pregnant. I have been sick going on 3 1/2 weeks, with nausea. I get to the point of almost throwing up. I gag, but nothing else. Its mostly worse in the mornings, but can go on throughout the day. I have had very, very regular bowl movements and ive always had irregular bowls, and my periods are very irregular as well.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to pregnancy. I suggest to do a urine pregnancy test or a beta hCG test for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
