What Causes Delayed Periods?

i lost my period by 3 days went to doctor tested pregancy test ,it shows neative, she sugested to have meprate for 5 days, though i didnt get my periods, i am having severe body pain , is their any chanceso f pregancy that,s why i did n't get my periods,please explain..

Hello there,
If pregnancy test came as negative then most likely you are not pregnant. How many days has it been since you stopped meprate? It sometimes takes about 4-5 days after you stop meprate to get a period. Yes if you are pregnant then taking meprate wont give you periods. So if in doubt then take the pregnancy test again.
Do not worry, just get yourself evaluated, as everything will have a solution. If your second urine pregnancy test comes negative then its confirmatory that you are not pregnant.
