What Causes Delayed Periods?

Dear Madam, i am 26 years old getting treatment for my pcod problem given Melmet 500 SR from few months. Then my period term is 26 days upto 5 to 6 months. At last 2 months i got IUI treatment but not concieved. I stopped to take the above tablet & last month i delayed 4 days in my periods. This month i from past 42 days i didnt go Menstruation. I checked myself with Velocit pregnancy test shows negative. Please advice me what step i can take. Thanks.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. There is irregular or no ovulation in polycystic ovarian disease, and hence there are delayed periods and difficulty in conception.
If IUI has failed two times, then you can get in vitro fertilization done. However, if you are not very anxious, you can try with2 more cycles of IUI.
