What Causes Delayed Periods?

i have done sex on last month 10 n got a date n next day .and this month. I do sex 2 dec. we use condom .then my periods come on 7 dec ...now its 11dec ....stilll my periods do not come .....is it pregnancy......prega news test shows negative result but till today periods do not come ....wat to do .....m i pregnant or not......its its time that my periods too late ......plz replyyyyy plz i need helpppp.........my age is 20........need a fast reply

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Prega urine test for pregnancy gives results after minimum 5-7 days of delayed period.Probably you tested it early.In such cases Blood HCG testing is confirmatory.
In case it is -ve nothing to worry about..If it is +ve, you need consult a gynecologist for removing it.
Other causes for delay in period can be-
- psychological stress, illness, hormonal imbalance. These conditions need specific treatment after confirming the diagnosis.
