What Causes Delayed Periods?

Hi doctor, I am Shreya and I am 27 years old . I ve my period date on 16th nov and on 13 th nov we had a sex without Condom on and after i am still not getting my period . So I ma bit confused that do I get pregnant ? Can you please explain in detail my this case ?

Hello

There is little chance of pregnancy as intercourse was done 3 days before expected period.It is conventionally assume as safe period.
Period may be normally delayed some time even in those ladies who have regular periods.
So,you should wait for 3-4 more days.
Then you can go for urine pregnancy test at home.It can clear the doubt.Ultrasound can be done if required.
