What Causes Delayed Periods?

Hello doctor! A few days back my bf cummed and nt sure if he had anything in his hand but he goes and pees and upon returning he fingers me! Then he doesnt go in but just touches his tip to my vagina! Was worried so took ipill within 24 hours! But the period is already late by 4 days! What do you advice?

Hello,
Since emergency pill contains excess hormone, the hormonal balance of the body is disturbed. This causes withdrawal bleeds and delay in the next natural period by a week or two. Preejaculate is sufficient to cause conception if this happens during the fertile period. Conception is lee likely in the manner described. Though, you are amply protected since you have taken the pill within the stipulated time. Please see a specialist for further help if you do not see your period in a week. Hope this helps.
