What Causes Delayed Periods?
Hello doctor, I have been facing delay in my periods from quite a while now. Last time also I took homeopathic medicine to get my mensurations. But this time its been more than one and half months. I also did pregnancy test but its negative. I have advised to take meprate twice a daily for five days. Pls advise me the reason being of this delay in periods.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns about. Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease.
If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then the pregnancy is ruled out.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including hormonal profile and ultrasound and get appropriate treatment.
