Hi! welcome to HCM and thanks for sharing your health concerns/queries with us.

Your problem is a common one in today's life and we frequently come across with women with history of one or more history of delayed periods and usually the causes are as follows:

1. polycystic ovarian disease

2. hormonal imbalance like hyperprolactinemia, thyroid/insulin disorders

3. genital tract or ovarian failure

4. malnutrition or anorexia nervosa

5. infections like tuberculosis

6. pregnancy

7. pill-effects

Therefore, you need to confirm the cause first by a pregnancy test/ultrasound and if the cause is not detected, see a gynecologist for a short course of hormonal pills for your period to occur.
