What Causes Delayed Periods?

Hi, i had unprotected sex with my girlfriend on her period( May 12)..she s too paranoid about it so she took nordette as an ecp...after several days, she experienced a withdrawal bleeding...On that day (that was 24 or 25 of May), we had unprotected sex again...but this time she didn t take an ecp..Until now she s still not having her normal period which is supposedly 9,10,11,12...,Its already June 15, im very worried that she is already pregnant??please help me: (

Understand your concern
Chance of pregnancy is definitely as your second sexual intercourse is unproductive and you did not use ECP.
So highly possibility of pregnancy as your period is delayed. I advice you to wait for few days.
Once your period will delay by more than 14 days from your normal expected period then go for pregnancy confirmation by urine pregnancy kit/Blood HCG/ USG scan.
Still if you do not want pregnancy, you can terminate by using misoprostol plus mifepristone under the advice of gynaecologist. (Intrauterine pregnancy should be confirmed first)


Other possibility of delayed period is hormonal imbalance if pregnancy test/USG will give negative result. In this case period will be induced by giving medroxyprogesterone preparation after consulting the gynaecologist.
