What Causes Delayed Periods?

Hello doc..i had sex last month on first day of my periods...with protection...after that my periods were normal...next month I missed my periods...its almost 10 days now....i had no history of nausea,vomiting....only pain in nipples if I press them...rest everything is normal

Hello,

Because your periods were due 10 days ago, it is important that you have a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first.

If the pregnancy test comes out negative then very likely you are not pregnant and your periods will come in the next 2-3 weeks.

If you notice that your periods are not coming in the next 2-3 weeks you will need to see your doctor.
