What Causes Delayed Periods?

hi,,my last sex was last second week of july and i had period for the past two months, but it only last for 2-3days then stop at the same time. now im having signs of being pregnant and also this month im already 2weeks delayed,, can u please tell me if there is anychance that im pregnant,, by the way i did a pregnancy test four times and all came out negative,,please help,,thnx

Hi! Delayed period can be worrisome for many. Since your last intercourse was in July and you had some bleeding after that (nature of which is not sure, as you said it lasted for 2-3 days and was unlike any other periods before) which may be a period, urine test for pregnancy is negative multiple times then most likely chances of pregnancy is very less. I wonder if you have any other health issues or any recent change in lifestyle, as there can be other causes of delay in pregnancy like poor nutrition-hydration, thyroid issues, stress, some gynecological problems, medications like hormone pills for contraception, etc. It would be great to have a check on lifestyle and diet, other factors and to get examined by the gynecologist to be sure.
