What Causes Delayed Periods?

Hello. I had periods on 20 feb then doc gave duphaston for decreasing pain then i had periods on 20 march but left course in between then had periods on 10 april. On 4th may i had very light dark brown colour spotting and some black clumpy thing for 4 days. Doc prescribed duphaston for 3 days twice. Left it on 10 may, till now no period? Was that a period if no then when will i get it?? Not sexually active.

Hi I think you might have got periods on 4th may. So, periods might come around one month after that. Wait till 4th June. .If you don't get periods by that time, you can take duphaston 10 mg twice a day for 7 days for inducing periods. Also get yourself evaluated. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods and pain during periods. Hope it helps.
