What Causes Delayed Periods?

My last period is 22/3/17 and I test the pregnancy kit after 1mnth 4may but the results is negative after that focuses recommend me to use period medicine and is used but I have no periods n again I use prgancy test but negative sign may16 I use. N after that I use kit23may n the sign is positive don t under stand what going on me sir m very worried
