What Causes Delayed Periods?

Ok i was on the depo shot for 2 years after having my son. I was on it before so off and on for 17 years and after my 3rd child was born 6 yrs ago i had a tubaligation done but got pregnant in april 2014 they didnt do my left tube so had my miracle baby got back on shot and my boyfriend n i have bren trying to get pregnant again so my deadline for next shot was June 7th n i didnt go get it. I have not started my period yet n i took 7 at home pregnancy test which came back with very faint positive lines went to doctors office took test came back negative what should i do?

I recommend that you wait for 5 more days, If you do not get your periods even after 5 days, repeat blood HCG levels to rule out pregnancy. Since your home pregnancy test has been positive, there is a definite chance of pregnancy. Sometimes blood testing can give false negative results or negative result due to laboratory error.
