What Causes Delayed Periods?

hi I am 41 years old and I missed my menstrual cycle last month but it came on on the 13th and it hasn t gone off yet I never experienced this before and I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative and my tubes are tied anyways I m really concerned

As there are many causes for irregular or delayed periods like PCOD,hormonal imbalance, pregnancy etc...
I suggest you to take USG Abdomen and pelvis and TFT (thyroid function test) to narrow down the diagnosis and consult a gynecologist...
