What Causes Delayed Periods?

I’m 5 days late of my period, I took the home urine test 5 times but it’s reading negative. I went to the hospital and the ultrasound shows that there’s nothing in the uterus and I did the blood test too , RBM is showing 8,3 . What is happening? Am I pregnant or not ?

Hello,

No, you are not pregnant at all. You will get your periods very soon. Usually, the cycle is 30-45 days. So if you think it is only 30day cycle you still can wait 15-20 days before doing other pregnancy tests. If then also its negative and you are not getting periods then consult a gynaecologist but since you say USG abdomen done and normal that means nothing is there to worry at all.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
