What Causes Delayed Periods?

I am 14 days late on my pereid, migraines, and nausea are something I experience when I am pregnant, but so far both urin test and blood test have shown negative for pregbnancy. Can I take a pill or should I wait and suffer through this pain until I am sure that I am not pregnant???and could I still be pregnant?
