What Causes Delayed Periods?

Hi, I'm 16 and started getting periods when I was 12. They usually come every 40 days, but i havent gotten it for three months now. Only this week, I've bled (only a little...usually my periods are heavy) but with the white thingie and urine. Also, I'm a virgin.
