What Causes Delayed Periods?

hi,
I have a copper coil fitted and i am 2 weeks late on my periods, I have done 3 pregnancy tests the first one came
up invalid, and the other 2 were negative. What could be wrong, should i get another test? or could it be
I am going through the change early, I am 40 yrs old.

Hi,

The first thing that is required for this condition is a ultrasound examination of whole abdomen, hormonal irregularities can lead to these symptoms, so correction of hormonal irregularities is required. Copper coil usually does not lead to delayed periods.
