What Causes Depressed Feeling While On Gabapentin?
I have been on gabapentin for two months. I started with one capsule, now I take two capsules in the evening. This was prescribed for neuropathy in my legs and feet....mostly feet. The last few days I have been feeling very depressed. Crying and just feeling out of sorts. I have experienced the death of my partner of 40 years last December and am not sure if the depression is grief from his death or if the medication is causing some of it. Should I continue taking the medication? I am female, 74 years old and generally in good health.

This is due to some other reason and not due to gabapentin. In case you feel so, start taking pregabalin(75) in spite of Gabapentin.
