There are many different causes for deranged liver function. The causes include non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, alcoholic fatty liver disease, viral infections like hepatitis A, B, C and E, certain medications, autoimmune diseases, obstruction in bile duct etc. You can discuss with your doctor and get tests done to find the cause.
