Hi I fell over onto my face got grazed forehead and grazed side of my face just underneath my eye. This was 6 weeks ago scabs have come off and it went to pink than now it s dark brown fading slowing to my original brown skin using bio oil at night and cocoa butter or e45. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Although Cocoa butter and Bio oil are best remedies for smooth healing of post traumatic scar, following measures can speed the recovery:
- Cleansing the part with fruit face wash
- Gentle sponging with avoidance of harsh rubbing
- Avoid prolong exposure to sun rays if necessary, use sun screen lotion of above 50 F unit strength
- Local application of aloe vera gel and lavender oil on alternate day basis 4 times a day each
- Consume more liquids and balanced nutritious diet for best results
- Avoid smoking if consuming

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
