What Causes Diarrhea After Taking Augmentin For UTI In Children?

My four year old is just over chicken pox,3rd week and has been having high temperature for the last seven days,she did a 3 ddays on monotrim for suspected urinary tract infection,still no better and is now on second antibiotic augmenton,3times a day,since yesterday and now all day today had bad loose stools...help tia

It is common with amoxycillin because it affects on essential lactic flora, which leads to cause diarrhoea, along with augmentin do take lactobacillus tablet or powder which will reduce diarrhoea.
