OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

Azithromycin can cause gastrointestinal disturbances and diarrhea is often seen. If the antibiotic can be changed, please opt for it if diarrhea does not subside by using simple measures like using probiotics, Loperamide etc.

If the diarrhea gets under control by using simple measures, the antibiotic may be continued for the remaining three days. Please take care to maintain proper hydration.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
