What Causes Diarrhea Along With Lower Abdominal Pain?

Watery diarrhea, left lower quadrant abdominal pain radiating transverse across lower abdomen, malaise, fatigue, white blood cell count 12,000, trip to hospital with no diagnosis, only CT showing thickening of part of the intestines and an appendix enlarged with fatty strands. Sent home with no meds to see gastro in 2 weeks but pain still there along with all other symptoms.

it could be rotavirus infection
which need no medicatin
only you can take good fluid replacement for the loss in diarrhea
the infection wil take couple of days and will improve spontaneously
