What Causes Diarrhea Along With Nausea?

About a month ago I started feeling sick to my stomach, diarrhea, I feel like there is something stuck in my throat, and nausea. I ve been taking nexium to help with the nausea and it has but sometimes I have to take 2 a day. I just don t understand why this feeling has been so prolonged. I thought pregnancy could be the reason but I just ended my period and I took a test that came back negative. Can you explain to me why I am feeling this way.

Hi
thanks for using HCM
Persistent diarrhea and nausea for that long signals an Infection to investigate. You will need a stool exam and culture to identify the cause. Possible causes are viral, bacterial or parasitic infections. You will need to see a Doctor for examination and work ups.In the mean time, you may take oral rehydration salt , zinc tablets and an antidiarrheal like imodium. Some bananas may also help to make your stool better.
Hope my answer will help you
Wish you a speedy recovery.
