What Causes Diarrhea And Bowel Incontinence?

I have had unusual and unexpected runny stools recently. Now i m virtually held hostage some days by a constant reddish brownish watery liquid that I ve attempted to use sanitary pads to control, at least until getting to a bathroom. When this all first began, I used Imodium to help. Could I have made this loose stool situation worse?

Hello,

Repeated diarrhoeas and incontinence in your case can be due to infection and typical the case of Amoebic dysentery. You don't worry. I suggest you medications as:

Rx Ordent (Ofloxacin and Ornidazole) BD for 5 days for infection control. Tab Loperamide sos to control motility.

Traditional mean:

1) Use milk with curd in the diet.
2) Take light meals and try the soup.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
