What Causes Diarrhea And Fatigue After Taking Antibiotics?

I been on antibiotics for about a week and every since I ve had diharrhea. I stopped taking the antibiotics and they diherrrhea went away.. But now I have ulcers around my butt hole. Does this mean I have a herpes outbreak or something? Bc the hospital told me that they had to run test and they won t be back for a week

Hi,

Wants to know what causes diarrhea and fatigue after taking antibiotic, now the diarrhea settled on stopping the antibiotic but there are ulcers on butt hole, worried about Herpes outbreak or something, tests has to be run.
Diarrhea might have been due to disturbance of intestinal bacterial flora due to antibiotic.
I would advise you to take a probiotic and multivitamins.
Diarrhea can cause perianal excoriation in the form of ulcers.
Apply liquid betadine locally. Do not apply any ointment.
May need another antibiotic if the infection flares up and the treatment of the lesions as per the appearance and lab reports.
