What Causes Diarrhea And Headache After Getting Periods?
I am 2 months late for my period ( I have been known for being late before), and just began bleeding this morning with lots of pain in the abdomen. I have constant diarrhea now, feel very weak, and now have a full blown migraine headache. I had my tubes tied in January, so I don t know if any of this should be cause for concern, or if my body just likes to make me miserable. Please advise.
Hi, I think you should consult a gynecologist if you are having severe pain. You should also do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. Sometimes tubal ligation do fail. So, better to be on a safer side. If negative, it can be menstrual symptoms also. You can take some pain killers like mefenamic acid along with some probiotics to relieve the diarrhoea. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound to see the uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. You may need some treatment. Hope it helps.
