What Causes Diarrhea And Nausea After Injuring The Sciatic Nerve?

I have 2 discs hurt in my lower back, and my next appt. is on Thurs. One of the discs is pinching the sciatic nerve. Anyway, I have been through physical therapy and two rounds of shots. My next guess is surgery. I have begun having diarehia every time that I eat, and feeling nauseous. Is this normal because of the pain In my back and due to the injury of the nerve?

Hi,

No, this diarrhea and nausea are not related to the pain you have at your back, you may take Buscopan tab at the mean while and do stool analysis to know if there is an infection at your gut.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
