What Causes Diarrhea And Stomach Discomfort After Taking NovoLog?
i am currently taking insulin novolog and tresiba, this was prescribed to me because of my uncontrolled diabetis.i noticed that i m having (loose vowel movement) after eating, feeling discomfort, hot, and uneasy, could this be a side effect of these medication? I also have several medication i am taking because i had kidney transplant 16 years ago.
Hi, NovoLog (insulin aspart) or any other insulin usually doesn't not cause such type of symptoms in most of the patients. And it is highly unlikely that it is contributing to your condition here. The information regarding other medications are missing here. And also sometimes uncontrolled diabetes results in a condition called gastroparesis; that has similar symptoms after eating. I would recommend you to consult an endocrinologist for further evaluation into the cause. I hope the above information helps you out. Thanks you for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a wonderful day.
