What Causes Diarrhea And Vomiting In A Child?

My 15 year old son is very pale and has diarrhea and vomiting. His vomit is dark brown. He seems okay mentally and is talking normally - he just feels lousy obviously. It is 1am in the morning - so should I just leave it and wait till tomorrow or take him into the hospital to be looked at?

Hi dear!
Dark brown vomiting is of highly concerned symptom. Two types are......
1. If he is vomiting immediately after having food then we could get brown coloured along with food particles. then u can wait till morning.
2. yes......but certainly if vomitus is not along with food particlesaparticles and is in mucoid or liquid form your baby needs to be hospitalized immediately.
Till then drink lots of ice cold water or ice cream.
