What Causes Diarrhea, Bloating, Increased Appetite And Burping?

My husband travels frequently to Mexico for his work, he has been doing this for several years now. This week he became ill during his travels. Diarrhea, bloating, gas and burping since Thursday 7/23. No vomiting. Good appetite but a very low grade fever. He is in good health, age 68. I m just a little concerned here, should I be?

I really appreciate your concern, traveler's diarrhea is very likely condition most of the time this is self limiting condition but on precaution basis "Tab Metronidazole and Doxycycline 400/100 mg can taken for three days twice in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
