What Causes Diarrhea Despite Having Idiopathic Gastroparesis?

I have idiopathic gastrperisis, and I m lactose intolerant, so I avoid dairy completely, but I have had diarrhea for about 24 hours and I can t figure out what has caused it. I would describe it as watery sandy and kind of an oily film floating on top of the water. Should I be concerned?

This is likely just a viral gastroenteritis that will run its course in just a few days. For now, electrolyte-rich juices and Gatorade are recommended
