I m 17w pregnant and I ve been having watery stool for the past three days. Fecalysis shows that my stool has many yeast cells and 1-3/HPF of pus cells. There were no intestinal parasites seen though. What does this result mean? and how will it affect my baby?
This is due to infection with some virus or bacteria. Treated properly it will not harm your baby in any manner. Suggested guidelines for you: • Drink more of liquids preferably electral solution in boiled water, lemon drink, coconut water, homemade juices, buttermilk • Take small amount of soft diets at intervals • Avoid all oily, spicy, non veg items totally till recovery • Take hygienic care with thorough hand washings • Avoid stress, anger episodes • Take necessary antibiotics and probiotics as your doctor`s advise
