What Causes Diarrhea For A Woman In Her Trimester Of Pregnancy?

is it safe to get Bifilac tablet during pregnancy? My wife (age 28) is in her second trimester of pregnancy. She is following her doctor regularly. She has diarrhea so the doctor has prescribed Bifilac table for 2days. Was wondering if it is safe or does not have any side effect to her and baby?
