What Causes Diarrhea In The Form Of Greenish Mucous While Having Diabetes?

I have type 2 diabetes, it is under control with my diet and insulin, A1C is 6.7. I have diarrhea sometimes 4 times a week. At first I get really bad stabbing pains that start around my navel and travel to my back. The stool is extremely mucousy, greenish olive in color and lasts for an hour of so. It happens either very late in the evening 11:00 or so, early in the morning 3:00 or 4:00. Only happens one time a day. I have told 2 doctors about this and they just brush it aside like I m making a mountain out of a mole hill. This is scary for me, what kind of tests should I ask for and where should I go to have them done? Thank you, I cannot afford to pay

I suggest to do a blood test and a stool test for further evaluation.
Meanwhile,I suggest using daily probiotics.
I also suggest using spasmolytic in case of abdominal pain.
