Menstrual cramps, also known as dysmenorrhea or period pains, are painful sensations felt in the lower abdomen that can occur both before and during a woman's menstrual period.
There are two primary types of these difficult or painful periods - primary and secondary dysmenorrhea:
Primary dysmenorrhea is the most common type and is characterized by pain in the lower abdomen and lower
back pain beginning 1-2 days before the period and lasting from 2-4 days. There is no underlying problem that is causing the pain
Secondary dysmenorrhea is characterized by cramping pains that are due to an identifiable medical problem such as
endometriosis, uterine fibroids, or
pelvic inflammatory disease.
And painful orgasm is called as dysorgasmia.
Characteristically, what happens is that the woman climaxes, and she almost immediately feels a severe cramp-like pain in the lower part of her abdomen.
This may last anything from a few minutes to a few hours, making any further sexual enjoyment almost impossible
Here you have not mentioned your age.
This may occur in females between 35 years to 55 years of age.
This may be due to fall in female hormone levels that invariably occurs at about this time.
And also caused by using antidepressant drugs for rage.
However, if you have this symptom, it’s perhaps worth having a gynaecological check-up for endometriosis.
