What Causes Diarrhea, Stomachache And Vomiting In A Child?

My grandson is 4 1/2 years old and has had diarrhea all day plus vomited 3 times. The ear thermometer showed 96 degrees. My daughter, his mom, said he says his stomach hurts alot too. He s been sleeping since he last threw up at 8:30 pm and it is almost 2am now. What can be done?

Hello,

The symptoms of your grandson seek to be related to gastroenteritis.

I suggest to give him daily probiotics.

I also recommend giving an electrolyte solution such as Pedialyte.
