What Causes Diarrhea While On Spira For COPD?

I have a hernia that involves my colon. Now i have a very loose stool. Had an operation for a hiatal hernia in April or May of this year. Can any vitamins or other things like protien drinks cause loose stools. The Dr. says if I loose 10lbs that they will think to consider hospice. I don t think my life is over just because I am 80yr old. Am taking Spira for COPD. It doesn t seem to help much. Dr. has not recomended any thing else. Pleas give me some advice.

Aldactone is available in name Spira. Common side effects of Aldactone include flatulence, gassy abdomen, nausea, vomitings and diarrhea. Others include skin rash, headache and dizziness.
