What Causes Difference In BP Readings On Either Arms?

My blood pressure on my left arm is 108 and 99 on the left arm and the doctor did my blood pressure on the right arm and it was 230 . I had no t slept the night before the 230 test results. I did the left arm at Walmart. Wha could cause such differences ?

I have gone through your query.Difference in Blood pressure arms in right and left arm can be due to organic problems in heart like coarctation of aorta or due to block in arteries due to atherosclerosis.In such cases a Echocardiography should be done to rule out cardiac problems and doppler of arteries should be done to rule out any block.Vascular surgery may benefit in both case.Hope this may help you.
