What Causes Difference In Hearing After Cleaning Up?
I had my ears cleaned a week ago by a professional ENT specialist. Immediately after he used an instrument that at once inserted some liquid and vacuumed my ear, the sound in my right ear was , and remains , tinny and unnatural. Even when I walk I can hear a chirping sound in my ear , and listening to TV or Radio or someone s voice is uncomfortable and unpleasant. He put me on prednisone 10 mg for 12 days and I am to see him again in 2 weeks. I have noticed no improvement and am wondering if the condition may be permanent. Any thoughts?
Hi, Greetings for the day.. The liquid into which he had inserted the suction tube tip is normal saline to clear any block in the suction tube...there might be damage to your drum or external canal...take a second opinion and get it examined by ENT doctor...thank you..
