What Causes Difficulties Latching Onto The Breast By Infants?
I have 17 day old baby girl. She refuses to take milk from my breast. The lady who comes at our home to massage baby and me said that my nipples are tiny thats why she is having problem in laching. Then i purchased breast pump. On using it i found it temporarily increases my nipple size . when i tried breastfeeding again baby was able to latch and drink milk. So my question is is it possible that with increase in age she ll be able to drink from my tiny nipple. I pump my milk and feed her my milk in bottle. Also i want to know why lactogen has to be given by spoon and not bottle
now that baby is able tolatch milk the problem is over. you can breast feed babyup to 6month and swith over to solid and semisolid food that you all are taking.giving lactogen by bottle or spoon is coviniance and habit. there is no such adviseto give by spoon, but it is better habitto change over before to solid food.
