What Causes Difficulty Breathing After Switching From Ovral To Rigevidon?

Hi i was put off ovran tablet and put on to rigevidon 150/30mcg and i have asthma ive been finding it difficult in breathing feeling faintish im 45 i shouldnt be on this other doc says and went very angry to other doc i came off this 1 week ago my lungs are agony deep breath in and out i feel starved of oxegen as well and panickin my left lung feels like sharp pains i was on antibiotic amoxcillin notging has helpwd me im waiting on a xray rsult im terrified as its been xmas eve i went i have 2 to 3 weeks to wait can this be a side affect of stopping this i took it for 6 months

No, this is not the habit forming drug. So it won't make your body punish if you do not take it after six months.

This compounds are various chemical compound of estrogen and progesterone and use for contraception.

Because of different chemical nature of the compound you might be feeling allergy to new compound.

I advice you to switch to some other contraceptive compounds. This will clear all your problems.

Please take low dose steroid like prednisolone and chlorpheniramine maleate under your doctors guidance. This will clear the allergic reaction.

Some respiratory congestion are also a side effect of this drug. So once you can even shift to the new drugs you are free from the symptoms.
