What Causes Difficulty Concentration?

I have been having a problem concentrating for the last few months. Last week, I took one pill of Vyvanse (from a family member who was diagnosed with ADD/ADHD) and I made more progress in the tasks I had to do than I ever have before. He told me he had started noticing that I had the same the symptoms that he used to have before he got his pills prescribed, and that s why he gave me one of his pills - however, he needs them, so of course we can t share them all the time. I think that I need to be tested for ADHD, but I don t know if I will get prescribed - do I really need this prescription?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is important to get yourself checked for ADHD before starting any pills. I would advise you to get yourself evaluated for it by the concerned specialist and start medication on his advise only.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
