What Causes Difficulty Getting Pregnant Despite Having Normal Periods?

Hello. I am a 34 year old woman and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 2 years now. I ve always had a normal menstrual cycle, I ovulate every month (I can feel the pain in my ovaries when I do). I recently checked my fallopian tubes (Which are not blocked) my uterus is perfect, I have no fibrosis, no ovarian cysts, I have egg follicles..pretty much everything seems to be fine with me. I also recently stopped smoking cigarettes to increase my chances of getting pregnant, but no luck. Could it be that I have poor egg quality?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

It is really good to know that all tests have reported normal results, but I would like to ask if you have only one partner and if you have been trying to get pregnant with that very same partner.

If so, then it would be wise to request your partner to get tested as well, for fertility I mean. It is always wise to get both partners checked to confirm that fertility is possible from both aspects. Please do so and seek appropriate treatment.

Best wishes.
