What Causes Difficulty In Bending The Knee After An Injury?

December 8th I fellc down a flight of stairs. The orthopedic doctor thought I had a partial quad rupture. Nothing done yet because mail just done. I cannot bend my knee and must walk up stairs on one leg.I have swelling and my knee is still purple. What can this be?

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to a menisque rupture.I recommend performing a knee MRI study and consulting with a orthopedic doctor again.Surgery may be needed.
