What Causes Difficulty In Breathing And Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat?
The last few days i have had a difficult time breathing. Its not like im not getting enough air but it feels a little bit like there is something in my throat and just doesn't feel right. It has been keeping me from sleeping as well as i have been and would like to figure out what it could be.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Difficulty in breathing is called dyspnea and it can occur in disorders of respiratory tract and disorders of cardiovascular system. Thus, an assessment of cardiovascular as well as respiratory system is required. Feeling of something stuck in throat suggests some abnormality in the throat. You need to consult an ENT specialist as well for clinical assessment of the throat to look for any mass or obstruction in the throat as well as in the larynx. Appropriate management can be planned after clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
